momentum events are being hosted by NBT and
Phoenix across the Yorkshire region and nationally to help raise the
profile of the momentum campaign and generate
funds for the project.
- 40th Anniversary Fundraising Gala

NBT's 40th Anniversary year culminates in a fabulous
fundraising Gala at the Leeds Grand Theatre in aid of momentum.
Artists from NBT and guest artists will present a spectacular
evening of dance and music. Created especially for our
40th Anniversary
celebrations and performed for one night only this will be an evening not to be missed.

- Rehearsal Days

Visit our headquarters at West Park to meet members of
the artistic and technical team and watch the Company
in rehearsal. The day includes a light lunch and a short
tour of NBT's Wardrobe with an opportunity to preview
costumes for new productions. Tickets are £20 and
the next event will be held on Wednesday 23 September
2009.

- Building Tours

We will be undertaking short tours of our new Quarry Hill
site at regular intervals as the building takes shape.
The first tour will be held in November.

- Dancing with David

Join us from 6.00pm at West Park for a preview of
forthcoming productions and a talk from
David
Nixon on creating the unique choreography used
to tell stories such as
A Midsummer Night's Dream,
Wuthering Heights
and Peter Pan.
Friends of NBT enjoy such evenings as part of their
membership but we will be hosting additional events
in aid of momentum. We
will be scheduling these events ahead of
Dracula
at the beginning of September.
